# format_log_follow_command

Return a copy-pasteable command for following a log file as it is written.

## Signature

```python
format_log_follow_command(
    log_path: Path | str,
) -> str
```

## Parameters

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
|------|------|----------|-------------|
| `log_path` | `Path \| str` | Yes | Log file to follow. |

## Returns

`str`

A `tail -f` invocation on POSIX, or its PowerShell equivalent on
Windows, where `tail` is not available.
