Choices that authorize spend.

Lives with the enum so callers restate the set in one place only. A new variant is excluded until added here, which fails closed: an unlisted choice is treated as cancel rather than silently sending.

Membership is the required spelling rather than a property on the enum, because the value under test is ColdCacheChoice | None -- a programmatic pop dismisses with None, and None in SEND_CHOICES is safely False where an attribute access would raise.

Format a speculative USD cost as a rounded, approximate upper bound.

Used where the figure is a worst-case estimate rather than recorded spend (e.g. the cold-cache warning modal, whose cache may be partially warm): rounds so the display does not imply false precision, and prefixes with ~ to signal "approximately". Do not use for recorded session spend -- format_cost renders actuals exactly.

Rounding is upward to two significant figures at or above a dime so it can safely appear in an upper-bound estimate. Between one cent and a dime the figure keeps cent-level precision instead (0.062 renders ~$0.07); a second digit there would be sub-cent noise.

Only for screens where Tab and Shift+Tab step the selection. A modal that binds Tab to something else writes its own line rather than using this one -- mcp_viewer (Tab jumps between servers), model_selector (Tab autocompletes), and plugin_manager (Tab cycles tabs) all do.

The hint is long enough to wrap once a modal narrows, so the host Static needs height: auto to grow and dock: bottom to reserve the extra row. Without the dock the wrapped row is laid out past the modal's bottom edge, where the compositor never paints it.

Validated data needed to render one advisory warning.

Constructed only after every gate has passed -- a policy resolved, the prefix cleared the provider's cache minimum, and the priced delta reached the configured threshold -- so the modal renders it without re-deciding anything.

How to resolve a cold prompt-cache warning.

Ask whether to send a turn whose prompt cache may be cold.

Dismisses with the chosen ColdCacheChoice, or None on a programmatic pop. Esc is mapped to CANCEL so the user is never forced into a spend they did not explicitly choose. None and CANCEL are both non-send outcomes, and callers must treat any non-send value as cancel so the dialog fails closed.
