# save_yolo_acknowledgement

Persist the current unrestricted-mode warning acknowledgement.

Merges into any existing approval state so first-run Auto notice fields are
preserved. Concurrent saves are serialized with a cross-process lock.

## Signature

```python
save_yolo_acknowledgement(
    path: Path | None = None,
) -> bool
```

## Parameters

| `path` | `Path \| None` | No | Alternate acknowledgement path for tests. (default: `None`) |

## Returns

`bool`

`True` when the private atomic write succeeds, otherwise `False`.
